Triamcinolone acetonide is a white to off-white powder widely used for skin conditions.

It is practically insoluble in water and sparingly soluble in ethanol and methanol.

It is not soluble in acetone but slightly soluble in chloroform.

It is one of the medium-acting synthesized glucocorticoids you see often in many ointments for skin infections.
